I have faced technological challenges in CMC a lot, because I’ve been trying to write the blog in this semester. Keep bloggin is very hard and I didn’t know anything about blogging at first. And I didn’t know words with computer so I didn’t understand what my teacher says. I’m good at computer, but I hadn’t done anything that is related with the computer-mediated communication technology before.
ReplyDeleteI think it’s really good for me to keep getting touch with someone through the computer. I wrote about hobby, my reviews, so on and myself. Then my friends commented the post. I’m really glad that I can talk with my friends through the Internet. So I thought that I have to know more about computer, especially about computer-mediated communication, like chatting and blogging.

ReplyDeleteI had used computers for writing reports and essays. I had not used a computer for CMC, and I was bad at computers.
ReplyDeleteHowever, the writing class with CMC started, and I had to learn how to use the computer and do various settings. Our teacher was very good at computers, and all explanations were in English, so I could do nothing but get puzzled. For example, I got confused especially when we set various items on our blog. It was because I did not know much about computers and the terms. Besides, all words on display were English.
I managed to keep up with this CMC class this semester. Now, I got accustomed to computer-mediate communication, and especially, I enjoy communicating with others through my blog.
I was not good at using the computer. I knew it myself, so I didn’t use it as I can possible until starting spring semester. However I have to use it because I use it in the writing class. At first, I was nervous because I thought it was hard for me, but now, I can enjoy it.
ReplyDeleteDuring spring semester, I make my blog I had never done it. I was confused but I tried. Then, it was so fun. At first, my blog had no item, but I learned from teacher how to put on label, my library, recent comments, and so on. Besides my friends taught me how to color the sentences. When I got the skill, I wanted to make more interesting one!! And then, I thought what I should do, and I put on the pictures, movies, links, and so on. I changed background sometimes. Sometimes, I made mistakes, but I thought I have to try more at the same time. Some people gave me comments and it made me happy because I felt my efforts paid off. And then, I send the comments to my friends, too. I could communicate many people through the computer.
I could enjoy using computer now. I express about my self and communicated with many friends by facing computer. Using new technology is sometimes difficult, but if I challenge, I can find new interesting things. This is the reason why I have keep trying to use computer. I learn about this during spring semester.
Technological challenge is using PC for me. It is very hard time. I didn’t think using PC is useful. Technology is very complicated. Even this semester is hard time for me at first. However, in this class I could ask how to use computer with classmate. I could make some new friends through our own blog. Technological challenge is good opportunity to know about others.
ReplyDeleteI don’t think that I have faced technological challenges in CMC this semester. I have two reasons.
ReplyDeleteThe first reason is that I didn’t face a problem in CMC this semester in fact. When I make blog, as I learned in this class, I didn’t inform about me in detail so I wasn’t in trouble.
The second reason is that I could enjoy this CMC problem. Surely, it was difficult to make this blog because I didn’t know how to use it in detail and I’m not good at computer but making it was very interesting for me. In this class I could learn the pleasure of making something and showing my writing. Especially, I didn’t know how to put links and labels but When I could get to know how to do that, making it is very interesting.
We face problem in CMC very often but if you are careful not to be in trouble in and can get to solve problem in CMC , and even if you face the problem, you’ll think that it is interesting and you want to keep it.
I didn’t like computer, so I didn’t like this semester’s writing class at first time. I thought this writing class, so we don’t have to use computer. However, I am happy now because I became be able to use computer more. Now, I like computer. Therefore, I use computer at my house.
ReplyDeleteI tried to make own blog that is not same blog with writing classes. I couldn’t paste picture on my blog at first time, but I can it now. So I am so happy. I will more challenge to many things about computer and I want to master the computer.
I think that I have faced technological challenges. Using computer was difficult for me. The most difficult thing was to make new blog customizes. I was absent from this class once. So I didn’t understand to make Proto-Portfolio. However my friends helped me, so I was able to make my Proto-Portfolio. I was good at using the computer, however it was difficult to use the computer in English. But I think that my skill of using computer became better than before.
ReplyDeleteI had no computer skills, so I felt it’s too difficult to make a blog and put many gadgets or medias like You tube and something like that.
ReplyDeleteI could make only simple blog and I don’t like my blog before. When I could do these, I felt so glad and savored a feeling of satisfaction.
I think it’s important to ask friends and teacher when I can’t understand how to do. Computer has many kinds of techniques and ideas, so beginners can’t deal with computer. Asking others and get ideas and thinking own ideas is good skills for CMC.
I could type fast gradually. I am not good at using computer, but I could use computer more than before. I had never had my blog until had writing class. I had my blog when I was freshman, but could customize easy to see. However when I was second grade, I get knowledge about it deeply. I thought that making my web page is very fun for me! So I thought that I want to have other my homepage. First, I didn’t know how to put some pictures and media, but I could do it, because I learned about it in this class.

I didn’t face technological challenges in CMC this semester because I’m working this university as an assistant in the some classes which students use PC in class. I have never used Mac before but using Mac is similar with windows. Basically, when I want to copy, cut, paste, and so on in the PC, I use keyboard like ctrl+c. Therefore, I didn’t face any technological challenges in CMC this semester.
ReplyDeleteThough I didn’t face any technological challenges in CMC this semester, I could know new things. For example, I learned how to use html command. It’s useful because I could write something fun on my top bar with my photo. I didn’t know how should I begin on a new line on the top bar, but suddenly, I remembered that teacher used html command, so I just tried to use it and then it worked! To know new good things is really nice, I think!
I don’t like using a computer, but I think that a computer is very useful, and using it is very important. Because we used a computer in writing class every week, I often write a report of another class, and also I communicated with teacher and friends through the computer this semester. So I think “No computer No life!”

Technological challenge
ReplyDeleteI think that keeping up with innovation in computer-mediated communication technology is special and interesting. Actually using computer was hard for me the beginning of this semester. The reason why that is I didn’t know how to use computer well.
Especially it was difficult to control computer, for example I didn’t know how to use power point, attach pictures on computer, and decorate my blog. So it was hard for me. When I was in trouble, my friends helped me. Every time my friends helped me, I was very glad and could know the using computer. I also can communicate with my friends by using computer, giving and getting comments.
So, I can know how to use computer and the importance of communicating with people. I think that it is interesting to use computer now.
I do not like using computer so much. Computer is complicated and difficult. When I entered this university, I did not have own computer. I had to use it in library. However, the library is not used every time. When students have assignments, there is very crowded and I cannot use any computer. I have many times using computer as class activity this semester. It is heavy stress for me. Moreover, writing class uses Mac computer. Mac is not easy to use.
ReplyDeleteIf the teacher said any thing about computer in Japanese, I will not be able to understand it. However, using computer is fun.
It was so hard for me to use PC. Because I don’t have a PC at my house. And I have used PC many times to do home work or report something like that. But I never used Mac. So it was pretty hard thing for me. Every time I was trying hard to do what a teacher says in the class. I was always asking to someone in the class when I was having difficulty. Because there were so many things I couldn’t get it. For example when I couldn’t go a page that the teacher want me to go, I asked my friend. Because if I didn’t do that, I wouldn’t get what’s going on.
ReplyDeleteI don’ think I’ve faced technological challenges in CMC this semester because I haven’t experienced; perhaps I might not be aware of this. But if I were aware of it, I would be surprised, and my life would be a little bit changed.
ReplyDeleteThe personal computer is awesome. I didn’t know how to use it very well but I think, if I could know more early, I would use it very well now. Through in Writing class, I thought that all over the word is so widely. Because, I can continue whoever on the website. Likewise I have a blogging though it’s very good for me. I can put on some links, media and so on. Whatever I like. However I had not enough experience, so I want to try to like a technological challenges.

ReplyDeleteI think the innovations CMC technology is certainly necessary in various field. Because we can easily, quickly communicate with friends (even foreign others). At first, I hated CMC because I can’t type well. And I wouldn’t understand why they use computer expressly to communicate, instead of letter. But usually we feel pleasure when the response or comment as fast as they can. So after I have knew the pleasure, my idea(above) was changed.
In our class, we take classes almost only English and use computer. So, we understand English indication by spoken English and it’s also important to understand how to use computer. I could use this computer little by little. This class with using computer, we can watch instructor’s indicates at once and it have been leaving on computer. Then, computer use many functions. For example, they’re a graph, a chart, a slide show. We can take this class having various contents different from other classes. In this class, we need the abilities to understand spoke English and to finish an exercise. We have to us many abilities at the same time. I should progress my English ability in order to understand by myself and computer ability, too because today’s society is internationalization.
