In this semester there was a big challenge in my life. It is having my own blog. If this writing class didn’t direct me to make one, I will surely never have my own blog. Moreover, the blog must be written in English. And the biggest challenge was the typing homework. I couldn’t understand how to send by G-mail. Right now I know how it is easy to do these things. When I knew how easy to copy and paste paragraph by “Command C”, “Command V” and “Command A” means paste that was a delight.
I don’t like using the computer because I don’t understand how to use the computer. But, I like using the computer now. Writing blog is very interesting. There are teachings that communication is important. I wrote a lot of blog by computer, I could communication various friends. Writing blog is creating an opportunity.
There are so many challenges in this semester. One is writing diary in English. Another is having my own blog. I faced in CMC this semester is G-mail. G-mail is easy to someone but it is difficult for me. Once, I forget my G-mail account and password.
Facing Challenges My most significant challenge was to write 10000 words. As a matter of fact, I couldn’t write so many words, but I have never written many words, so I could develop my English skill. Using computer is very hard for me, because I cannot use the computer easily.
I think when we have faced in CMC, we need use easy to expression. When we talk each other, we use a lot of words. But in CMC, we can’t use many words so we should use easy to expression. And we need know many expressions.
I think the most significant challenge is reading classmate’s blog and writing comment. To reading other blog, it can study English grammar. I think that computer-mediated communication is good way to study English. Because it can watch classmate’s blog in own home and write comment too, and it is so convenient.
The most significant challenge that I’ve faced in CMC this semester is posting my blog, because I had not done any blog until taking this class. Now, it is easy for me to post with pictures. It was good for me to record my voice, because it was a good chance to make sure my pronunciation.
Using technology was difficult for me, because there were some trouble things. But I could develop my technology skills. The most significant challenge that I’ve faced in CMC in this semester was to write 10000 words. It was difficult problem for me. First I was sure that I couldn’t write my blog 10000 words, but I achieved to write 10000 words. Now I feel a sense of fulfillment.
In this semester, I used many technologies and it was the first time for me. I don’t how I should use these systems so I never take in these things. However, I knew that technology made us easy to understand and easy to tell everyone. Most significant challenge was recording and pasted this on my blog. I thought that this technology is very useful for us. Moreover, I was very surprised that this recording can paste on the blog. If we use some technology, we will able to tell many things with easily. For example, if we want to tell the way of cooking, pasting some picture is very good way. We have to use technology and tell many things for everyone with easily.
CMC is very convenience tool but very dangerous. Because it can’t see person’s expressions so it cause a misunderstanding. Some murder case happen cause of this misunderstanding. So I use CMC when I calm feeling. I think CMC is very dangerous. Because it can’t see person’s expression, so it causes a misunderstanding. A murder case happen cause of this misunderstanding. So I carefully that kindness comment when I post comment in this blog. Many friends comments in my blog, so I response as soon as I can. I think it’s good effect in my friendship.
I think CMC is great because we can communicate many people by the computer. I think CMC is important but too depending on CMC is not good because communication of speaking English is also important for me.
Recently, we can communicate with e-mail or blog. I didn’t try to write a blog, so I confused to communicate to other people. However, I gradually enjoy communication to my friend and other people. I think it is important to enjoy connection between people simply. I haven’t skill of computer, now I enjoying communication in CMC.
1. Developing Awareness. English language learner can learn about awareness of English. Because, Studying English is make many new discovery of learner’s awareness of English words. I can change my awareness of English language because I usually type many English words and search many English grammars. For example, In April, My first time contribution of blog is very short sentence and I don’t know how to type many sentences. But, In June, I can type a lot of sentences and I can learn some of English grammars.
2. Facing Challenges I think computer-mediated communication is good for us because computer-mediated communication can us communicate friend who live in long distance for speakers. The most significant aspect of CMC that I faced in this semester was commenting my friend contribution. I felt this function is very amazing.
3.Achieving Satisfaction I can write English sentence better than this semester begins. I typed very hard when I contributing my blog. I am careful of how to writing long sentences. Two month passed, I can type many sentences in blog. I can satisfy this result because I can learn how to type many sentences and some of grammars. When this semester begun, I didn’t know English grammars. But, I can learn some of English grammars in this class. I explain how I learned some of grammars. When I don’t understand what grammar I can use this sentence, I used dictionary and reference book. When I discover this grammar, I wrote it my notebook and practice writing.
I think we must respect each other, because we can’t see partners face and voice. We can’t understand true partners feeling. For example if one’s friend angrily, but one parson doesn’t know, then one parson sent the important e-mail but don’t answer. It is so danger. After all don’t communication.
In this semester, I got many challenges as CMC. Specific challenge I face was web blog. I had to over 6000 words on the blog. It was very hard for me. I wrote only 2000 words till May, so I wrote sentences very hard in June. I wrote over 7500 words till now. It was most specific and hardest challenge in this semester for me.
