Mariners @ Safeco, 2007.08.13

Next semester, we'll meet in a new Mac lab, so I thought I had better try out more of the media and workflows that we will be able to use once we're installed there. This post includes the first media that I have created from an iPhoto slideshow, saved as a QuickTime movie, and uploaded to YouTube.

If you have ideas or questions about how to use any of these tools, please feel free to spell out your ideas and ask for tips in comments on this post. I'll try to respond by the time we get going in the new Mac lab second semester.

  1. When I posted "Mariners @ Safeco, 2007.08.13" (Aug. 18, 2007), I thought that we'd be moving into a new Mac-equipped computer lab. However, the Fates have smiled on those who prefer Windows.

We'll be meeting and working in a new lab (Rm. 1443), but on Windows machines again. The upside is your familiarity with the equipment and applications. See you there!

  14. Hey, gang!

Thank you for all of your comments. For those of you who haven't heard this speal before, there are three Americas: 1) North, 2) Central, and 3) South. For those who have heard this, let it be a reminder.

Quite a few good players come from Central America (including the Caribbean) and South America to play Major League Baseball (MLB) in North America.

Though I've grown tired of seeing the New York Yankees and Hideki Matsui on TV, it is a pleasure, occasionally, to see other Japanese players on U.S. and Canadian MLB teams.
