Although the Friendly Letter Format and Sample Friendly Letter illustrated on the Letter Writing Guide website show BOTH indentations at the beginning of paragraphs (¶¶), AND blank lines between ¶¶, you should use ONLY blank lines between ¶¶ in your writing for the Writing Studio (no indentations).
