As part of preparation for creating your own portfolios, I'd like to ask you to do the following. Please:
- View the slides in the presentation embedded below,
- Follow the instructions on slides two and three, and
- Review the portfolios that you find through the links on slide four.
Then please return to this post, and add a comment about which of your predecessors's portfolios you think is the best from each section (1A and 1C), and why you think so.

I think Megumi's and Mao's portfolios are good because they posted about 2000 or 3000 words each months.

Mao S's shows what she did and what she wanted to do clearly.
I think Haruka I's Portfolio is best in 1A because she wrote many comments. Also, I think Mao S's blog is best in 1C because she wrote number of words in her blog intentionally.
ReplyDeleteI think Haruka I's portfolios is the best portfolios because her portfolios is hardly red marks. Also, her blog word couts are a lot. I think her portfolios is perfect.
ReplyDeleteI think Hazuki G. and Mao S. are best Portfolios. Hazuki G wrote more than 2000 words each month in last year, so I respect her. And Mao S. wrote more than 100 words in book review. I think O should write more in book review.

ReplyDeleteThe reason why I thought that is her PF has a few mistakes, and she write the blog a lot of words every week.
Then I thought 1C's best PF was Saho F.
Her PF has some mistakes more than 1A's PF, but anyway, her PF was easy to read. I think it's not interested in her wrong. So, I decided it that it's easy to read.
I think that Haruka's Proto-Portfolios is the best. It doesn't have error. It is like model.

ReplyDeleteEriko K is the best in 1C. Her BR is always about 100 words. And when she read book with dictionary. so she learned words and phrases.
Best blog is Ai I and Mao S for me. Because Ai's blog is simple but it is easy for me to see it. And Mao's blog has many free writing diary. So when I read them, I am interested in.

I think Haruka's portfolios and Mao's portfolios is the best in 1A class and 1C class. They had achieved 10000 words. Haruka was reading 15 books more than this. And, they wrote blog regularly.
ReplyDeleteI choose Junpei T from A. He's Portfolios is very nice because he wrote 16000 words more. I respect him. Mao S from C. She tried reviews of book on a regular basis and out comments.
ReplyDeleteI think the best in 1A class is Hazuki. G because she was typing a lot of blog through a year! Also, he blog's woerd count were more 15,000 words! I was surprised this words count, so I thought she is the best !

I think that Haruka's portfolio is the best in A class because she wrote more words than other A class students. And she make a mistake a little in portfolio than other students. It is great! Also I think that Eriko's portfolio is the best in C class because she wrote essays more words than other C class students. It is great!

Also Haruka's portfolio in 1A class, because she has a lot of comments. It is nice, and her portfolio's mistakes are fewer than other people's portfolio. I think her portfolio is best!

ReplyDeleteNow, as you work on your own portfolio pages, I hope you'll revisit those of your predecessors to reexamine the written commentary that they provided to introduce, explain, and reflect on various parts of their portfolios.
It was the written commentary in those primo portfolios that made the difference between ho-hum snapshots of the various parts (embedded spreadsheets), and richly reflective albums of a year's work.
