Students who have taken part in Writing IV, section 1A, are to post reflections based on their experience this year in comments on this post, for the benefit of their successors next year. The presentation below outlines the short essay writing task calling for current students to prepare, compose, and post their reflections in comments on this post.

I searched what I wanted to write and tried to explain easily that for essays. I prepared with searching on Websites and some books. Writing essays were hard for me, but I think it improved my Writing skills. I tried to write them more generally and be easy to read. My classmates also prepared for essays with pictures and videos.
ReplyDeleteI read and reviewed many books, and almost of that was for children. They were easy to read and interesting for me. They also had some points and purposes that teach children something. I chose some books that children could learn something from them. I also could learn many things that I have never known, and it developed my bibliographies. I hope children and parents who have little children enjoy my book reviews and find good book for them.
When I posted essays, my classmates commented a lot. They praised my essays and gave me some good comments. Some friends gave me advices, so they were very helpful. When they gave me advices for my essays, I can change and rewrite them, so I was happy to get these advices. So I tried to comment good things and some bad things to my classmates’ essays. I tried to comment a lot for each person as much as I could. I think comments from readers are most helpful things to write and rewrite essays.
I chose “BR 2-8: The Play” and “Essay 2-02b: Do You Know ‘Marimekko’?” as my highlights on this semester. The book was very interesting, so I think many children like it. It also shows how important to cooperate with others, so they can learn something from it. When I wrote the essay, I could write a lot of sentences because I liked the theme. I tried to introduce what I like, so I put and used a map, some pictures and link of the website. I tried to write it readers can enjoy to read and easy to read. Also, I got some comments from my classmates, so I rewrote some sentences to be a good essay. I rewrote again and again, so I think it is my best essay on this semester.
I will talk about my experience in Writing Ⅲ-Ⅳ in this year.
ReplyDeleteIn this year I wrote many essays in Writing class. For example there are University life, Language learning, Favorite places and Learning with computer. Before we write essays, we had to prepare to write essay.Mind mapping is one of the important things to write essays. I made maps to write essays because if I star to write without outline, I might confuse what I want to write and my essays can be hard to read. So I made maps and then I picked up topics which I will write in essays. It was so useful idea for me to write essays.
Last semester, I read too easy book and wrote Book reviews, but I decided to read more difficult books and write it in this semester. I thought how do I try it and I came up with idea. I love movies, so I decided to read books which I watched on movies. I thought if I do so, it is easy for me to understand their stories. I read The Great Gatsby, Les Miserable and The Last of Mohicans. These are movies what I have watched. I could to write my opinions about it more than last semester’s Book reviews. I was glad to write about my feelings which I read stories.
We commented on each our classmate essays. Professor said to us “Please comment on essay. You should comment Praise, Questions, Reflections and Suggestions.” Suggestions were important for me to write essays which are better than one before. My classmate suggested me things which I did not notice. After they commented on my essay I noticed my mistakes and fixed it in a next essays and I could write better one. I realized to check my essays by others is the most important to improve my writing skill.
This year, I was hard. First time, I should write blog for a year. First, I didn’t find to story. But, teacher gave us for story, we could write a essay. I wrote kind of essay. The essay was hard, but I could wrote all essay more 600 character. Because, the essay story was good for me. I could intresting in essay. I also used reflection, I could expand story. Classmates had many idea, we could shere this idea. I think that is good activity.
ReplyDeleteAfter we had wrote a essay finished, we could checked each other. It was good. Because, if I had mistake, classmate teach me. I also that I leraned for classmate. I like the best essay was language learning. I could find way to study English. Because, I saw classmates blog, they write way to study English.
Peer-to-peer commentary was hard for me. Because, I could hard to find mistake for classmates essay. But, I could all commentary Praise, Questions,Reflections, Suggestions. I could read kind of type suggestions. It was difficult for me, but I learned to find mistake, new idea.
Book review was interesting. But, I should more kind of book. I chosed easy books. I mistaked to chose books. I could read English books that is first time for me. I should read books every month. I couldn’t read books every month. The bibliographies was good. I could understand, I had finished now. I think good point that I put on the record.
Portfolios was good record for me. I like put on record. Because, I can know that I should more write bolg. It was easy for me. I understand I should do now. I also get a goal and motivetion revel up.
I could 10 movie review. It was good. I could many watched movie, I wrote inpressions about movie. I learned American movie, actor,cinema. I was able to write my inpressions long lenght. It was grow points for me. I started write blog, I forced attached English skill. Because, I get TOEIC points that more 300 points before. I was happy. I think write blog was hard, but the time give me forced English skills. I want to write essay more intersting and deeply.
I learned many things in this Writing class. I wrote about fifteen thousand words in English, book reviews, essays, and diaries in my blog. They made my writing skill in English well. Not only English skills, I learned importances of deadline again and again. There were many homework in this class, so I wondered whether I could get a unit of this class or not. Those homework were hard for me, but I enjoyed to write.
ReplyDeleteI learned that learning with enjoying is wondeful. I had to write over fifteen thousand words in English in this semester. I worried about I could write such many words in my blog. At first, I didn’t motivate to write, so the number of words are few from September to October. I didn’t come up with topics to write in my blog. I tried to write something to gain number of words, so I wrote about small happy and discovery. I had a fun to write about my diary from a time. Therefore, I didn’t feel hard for writing blog in English. Because of the enjoying, I could wrote over fifteen thousand words. I thought it is important to do with having fun whatever I do. If I enjoy, I don’t feel hard about it.
I had homework of essay in this class. Those essays were good chance for me to gain many number of words. Topics of those essays were decided, so it was easy to write about the essay’s topic. I had to compose the paragraphs in the essays. When I wrote an essay about only what I want to write, readers are difficult to understand my essays. I should write topic sentences at first of paragraphs. Writing of topic sentences was difficult for me. Sometimes, I couldn’t write topic sentences because I had to get my ideas in the sentence. In the latter half of all essays, I could write topic sentences, I think.
My typing skill is improved in this class. I had typing homework. I needed to type over one hundred fifty words at last typing homework. I was not good at typing. I could type more words than first typing homework little by little. I can type Japanese smoothly, but it is difficult to type English words yet. I handed in my typing homework somehow.
I had written short essays through this year. Some of them were about self-introduction, my university life, studying English, and my favourites. Sometimes, it would be little hard because wrriting essays in English required me to think what I would to write in English, not Japanese.
ReplyDeleteEverytime, I got topics in writting Ⅲ-Ⅳ class. Frankly, the topics were not always interesting to me, but I tried make me interested in them. Of course, my friends in the class always gave me big big helps. Whenever I asked them what were they going to write, they gave me wonderful clues. When I revised my essays, I could find many points would get better thanks to them.
Book reviews, they were very hard to me. I didn’t begin to do book reviews earlier, but I should have done them. I went to KGU library to borrow English books. There is a section of books to study Enlgsih, which is called “English garden”. I mainly chose books of fairy tales because coulorful pictures of theirs attracted me. They are totally different Japanese ones. First of all, I search some scenes or sentences I like. I’d love to write about a touching and lovely part from every book. I explained why do I like the part to develope my book reviews. Even pictures would be my favourite part of books I had read. I already knew most of fairy tales, but it was still challenging to read and think of them anew in Englsih.
In addition, me and my classmates exchanged our own opinion in blog comments. Reading my classmates posts was meaningful. Naturally, everyone has his own opinion. Some people think things in their way, which were tottaly different from mine. Their comments were helpful so much. Then, when I read their posts and I was impressed, I told them so in my comments.
I think I can write better essay little by little. I didn’t write enough at first, but gradually I can write essays, and book reviws longer. Student writes blog, but it wasn’t checked. I worried about my blog, so it is hard to write correctly. The limit of essays to post is short time, but I posted all the assignments before the deadline. This calss student is smart, but I think I’m not smart. It is a little difficult for me to take the class, but I did my best.
ReplyDeleteMy book review is easy, so the book is not so hard to read. Actually, I don’t like to read books, but English book looks cute. Pretty books makes me fun to read. I choose the beautiful pictures book. I wrote reviwes and my experiences. That way is easy to write. I wrote about trips and coming-of-age celebration, and the essay is long. Fun time for me was able to write longer. when I was writing about those, I felt fun. Then I got the comments from my friends, it was noticed about good points and bad points in my blog.
I am not good at using computers, so I can’t use computers functions enough. I wanted to put recommended homepage, but I don’t know how to put it. I should use computers more. Then I wanted to write blog like native. My English is too easy. I wanted to study native English in this class. Mr.Beaufait is good teacher, so I wanted to learn native English from you!!!
I have taken Writing class III and IV for a year. Writing class is the busiest all of the English classes. I have to write essays, book reviews, and movie reviews. And, I have to write 10000 words in spring semester and 15000 words in autumn semester for take their credits. So, when I have no class in university, I have to write on my blog.
ReplyDeleteIn essays, I have to write them on my blog. These titles are decided in writing class. Some titles were very easy to write. But, some titles were very difficult to write. All essays, it was easy for me to write a essay about my university. I’m university student, so there are many things about my university. It is class, how to go to university, and university’s facilities. But, it was difficult for me to write a essay about computers. This essay title was very hard. I could not find something to write about computers. So, it was cost many times to write this essay. Finishing writing essay, I have to see other student’s essay and comment about their essays. Seeing other student’s essay, I found thinking of other student about each essays.
I have to write about book reviws, too. In spring semester, I have to write 15 book reviews. In autumn semester, I have to write more book reviews: it was 18 book reviews. In spring semester, I read English books about story. It was very interesting, but it was difficult to read these English books. So, in autumn semester, I wrote book reviews about easier to read than English books which I wrote about book reviews in spring semester. It was very easy to write book reviews. However, these books were not interesting for me. So, if I read English book after writing III and IV, I want to read English books about story. Although it is cost many times to read, I can learn about English skills.
In spring semester, I have written about movie reviews onece. The movie was “Robin Hood”. It was very interesting. So, I have watched it many times. But, it was difficult for me to write about movie review “Robin Hood”. I didn’t know what have to write about it. Writing movie reviews is the most difficult in spring semester. There is no movie review in autumn semester. So, I was happy.
Throug taking writing class III and IV, I was very tired and busy. But, I get used to writing using key-board. Before taking writing classes, I was weak of using key-board. Writing class III and IV have many times to use key-board for write on my blog. Next grade, I may have to write using key-board. So, writing class III and IV is important for me, I think.
I had an agenda to push this year. For example, Essays, Book reviews and other programs.
ReplyDeleteI wrote my blogs about 15000 words more. Writing essay was very difficult for me. First, I made Essay prep. I like making Mind-mapping. I had tried evry way I can think of. I found many items. Free-writing was very exciting. I wtrote about my experience and free time.
Essays taught me many importnat things. For example, constitution or grammer. I wrote a humorous essay about various themae. I could write the most theme is University life. I wrote good points or bad points at University life. I wrote about my friends or teachers and my classes too. About favorite places is very interesting. My best essay is Learning with computer. This theme was very difficult for me. However, I can see I put a lot of effort into it.Portfolios is very important items. It is very convinience. I can see that how many words or post, total points. It was reference standard for me.
Book review gave me good chance because I often not read a book. If not biik review, I didn’t read book in English, and I culdn’t good experience. I read 30 more books at year. I could feel English more thanks to Book reviews. My best Book review was “Harry Potter”. I had read it very long time. However, I could write
about many my opinions. I could think that want to read many books.
My class members blogs are very good too. Sometimes, I used my writing blogs as model. I put in cpmments.there. For example, good points and bad points, suggestions. Before, I was not good suggestion to other people’s idea or texts. However, I could learn that give to my ideas or opinions. My class members gave me many ideas because I could write essays or other post more. Writing class learning gave me that my learning English life.
I am going to write about reflection on my experience this year. First, I prepared for essay writing when I wrote essays. For example, I thought important point about essays. Thinking some point about the essays was easy to write essay. Also, I composed more than seven paragraph length. I was not good at writing statements, but I felt my skill improved by writing essays.
ReplyDeleteNext, I wrote a lot of book reviews. I read books that it was easy for kids to read. For example, there was fairly tale. I introduced about the story of book briefly. I have never read English book and written book reviews. I could have a lot of English vocabulary by reading and reviewing. There were a lot of words that I have never known. Reading and reviewing improved my English words skill.
Third, I got on my blog posts from classmates and peers. Their comments were good advice to improve my English grammar and how to write blog for me. Some people told me mistaken point of statements. I could know my bad points then. i also posted on my classmates and peers blogs. I wrote both good points and bad points. Good point is my thinking about their posts. Bad point was mistaken points on the posts. When I got some comments, I was very glad every time. Therefore, I wanted to write more blogs. Commenting each other was good thing because of motivation up.
I wrote about portfolies of my work. I could know the number of words that I wrote essays and book reviews. It was very surprised at little number of words when I knew the number. I could write a lot of words by writing about portfolies of my work. Also, I took a lot of picture to posts on blogs. When I posts some picture on blogs, a lot of people read my blogs. It was very important not only write words on blogs but also posts picture at same time.
I have written blogs for about a year. It was very hard for me. However, I could improve my English skill by writing blogs. I want to use the things that I got knowledge next year.
I read many kinds of books, and wrote Book reviews in Writing class, but I could not write easy books reviews. I read many books of Usborne First Reading series. I read the books cerefuly to understand what books tell us, and wrote it in book reviews. The books of Usborne First Reading series has easy and simple story, but they have “moral” at the end of the story. I could learned many things from them, and I tried to write them in my book reviews.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I wrote many essay preps. I wrote it shortly and clearly for Essays. And, I wrote many things. Then, I wrote Essays easily.
I worte many Essays in my blog. The first Essay is Letters to hosts. I wrote the sentences cerefully in order not to mistake the words. I often mistaked the words. Also, most favorite essay is My favorite place because I could write many things. I am not goot at making palagraphs, so I tried to make good paragraphs. Also, it has may favorite pictures. Learning computers was most difficult Essay for me, so I tried to write the sentences easily. First of all, I wrote about the computes of Mac easily. I used them for the first time in Writing class and I did’nt understand haw to use them. However, I can use them now, and learn many things from them.
I think I could develped my witing skill little through Writing class.
I often read animal story. I almost wrote about ddangerous animal, cat, dog, and so on. those are my favorite animals. Dangerous animals are lion, tiger, golila, and so on. Especialy my favarite animal is cat. I like very much. So I have a cat since about ten years ago. She is my family. Anyway, I almost wrote about animals. Other kinds of books are adventure, the Statue of liberty, knights and so on, and I wrote about planet earth. It was interested, because I like waching many kind of earth’s picture. Those are very beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThen I wrote a lot of essay prep. I wrote about learning woth computers, hot spring, a movie, university. And I made outline of university and a spa. I can learn about how to computer.
And I wrote a lot of essay, for example; learning computer, my favorite place, Robin Hood. Robin Hood is the movie review. I can find new my favorite movie. My favorite place is hot spring. The place can enjoy and relax. This place’s name is Suishun. So I hope that they go to this hot spring.
I think that my best book reviews is Planet Earth, because I could many centence and I like story. and my best essay is G to hot springs, because this is my favorite place.
This year, I had to 15 book reviews in 1st semester, 18 book reviewa in 2nd semester. In the first, I always wrote quotation with page number. And next, I explain the story. And last, I wrote summaries, recommendation and impression. Even it is hard to book review in Japanese but I had to in English. It was hard but I got good experience. I read easy books of many kinds. I shoud read little more difficult books.
ReplyDeleteSometimes I had essay prep. homework. Before I write eassy, I did mind mapping. This thing is good for to write essay. I can find ideas to write essay. After mind mapping, I started to write essay. Mind mapping ideas made me to easy to write essay.
I had six essays. Tipics were Letters to hosts, University life, Movie reviews, Language learning, Favorite olaces and Learing with computers. It was kind of hard to write long essay, but I learned how to write essay. I had to write two of essays with my friend. It was fun to work with my friend. I can know how feek they were and how they write essay. It was hard to write long essay, but I got good experience.
I had Portfolios for count the words of blog, book reviews and other things that I posted in my blog. Portfolios are easy to use and convenient. I had to update at 1st day of the months. My Portfolios are not good. Because, I didn’t post so much in each months. So I had to work really hard in the end of the semester.
I prepared for essay writeng by use mind mapping. I got ideas that what I should to write in essays. I revised it by professor’s comments. And my friends drafted more ideas for me. When the time, I added in essays.
I got comments from my friends and I commented in friends essay. I tried to comment praise, question and impression. Friends were comment same thing.
I wrote many posts in Writing Ⅲ-Ⅳ this year. For example, it is about learning languages, my favorite places and leaning with computers. They are a little difficult for me. Because we havd to write rewrite essay. But I could write longer than first essay. We made pictures about own essay before we write essays. It made me easy to write essays. My favorite essay is 2-03b. It is about leaning with computers. Because I could write longer than other essay posts. I posted my computer’s picture. I weote about my recommend site for leaning English and posted its link.
ReplyDeleteAlso I wrote many posts about free-writing. I wrote about my pets, vacation plan, activities with my friends, other class learningand holiday and so on. Also I posted many pictures. Especially, my favorite post was about a coming of age celebration. Because I could longer than other posts. I spent enjoy time for a coming of age celebration day, so I could wrotemy fun experiences about it. I tihnk posting many pictures makes easy to write and read.
And I had to do weekly homework. It was book review and typing homework. I rent some books written by English and I read. The total number of these book were 18 this semester. It is a little hard because we should rend books, read and write. However we can know many story so I think it is good for me to do it. But I couldn’t weekly post, so it mede me hard and busy. I think I should do neatly.Moreover I shoud do yping homework as weekly homework. I wrote different theme for first five posts each other. Then we had to wrote about favorite thing. I wrote about animals, movies, dramas, sports,singer, memories, place,foods, actress, anime and countries. I wanted to write more about memories so I wrote two posts.
I wrote many posts through Writing class. I tihnk if Writing class finish and we stopped write blog, it is pitty. So I wnat to continue writing blog. If there is not Writing class, we don’t write blog in English. So It was hard for me to write blog. But iit is good experience for me.
In this and last year, all students who took this class did a lot of things in this class. Then students and I finished all things. So, I will tell you reflection about them.
ReplyDeleteFirst of all, I wrote essays. All post which I wrote essays were good I think. The second essay, University life, was good because when I wrote it, I thought deeper and deeper. My university life has many experiences, so it was so hard to choose from them. Then I wrote about facilities of university in this essay. It was hard for me to choose from them, too, because I was using them all the time, so every facilities have intensity. My third essay, Favorite place, was hard to write because students who wrote about it were focus on the favorite places. For example, Yamada denki’s game corner, University’s library. It was not widely, so it was hard to write focus on the topic.
Book reviews were so hard. Students couldn’t quote from these books, so I couldn’t find opinions about their books, so I thought you should reduce the number of book reviews. Then there were not opinion about books, so I couldn’t write a lot of recommenations. I wanted to write them because books were so nice. But, I couldn’t. I was so sad about my lack of vocabulary. I’d like to criticize about Bibliographies because I couldn’t understand it to write it. When you check whether we finished or not, you can see immiediately, but we need to write about it because if we have much time to write it, we want to do assingments or other study, so I would like to refer it.
Portfolio was I didn’t understand because how come did we have to do that? Were there reasons to do that? One point of preise is we can study about data processing, but it’s not class activity in writing class.
Our blogs consists of peer to peer commentary because we can see about my essay’s bad and good points when we look their comment in my blog. Thank you for peers to write comments in my blog. When they had some questions, I could answer them, so I could know they wanted to know about my essay, and then I could know bad and good points from questions. The suggestion was really good idea I think because it was written about point out of bad and good points, points of improvement, and “if I was your situation, I will do that.”. These were helpful for me to improve in next essay. If you will be written essays for next semester students, you should do same things, but you should do book reviews comments, too.
In this class, I can learn about some things, but I think assignments are so many, so you should decrease them, please. I could’t do myself study because I have to do these assignments. But, it was my treasure what I can write a lot of words. There are rooms to improve writting blog. Please be thinking about assignments.
In this year, we posted about a lot of things in this blog. It was very hard for me, but I could memorize a lot of English words. It is good things. When I was enter this class, I couldn’t write English sentence. I really couldn’t it. I enter this class, we wrote a lot of sentences. I needed a lot of times for writing them at first, but now, I can write them like this. I think that I could progress my English. I don’t know weather this sentences are good, or not, but I think that writing them is important things. I experienced a lot of things, so I will introduce about them.
ReplyDeleteI think that essays were very hardest for me in this blog. we had to write a lot of words. I am not good at write a sentences. For example, we have to write more than 600 words, and more than 5 paragraph. These are hard for me. These are long sentences! I couldn’t hit upon sentences early, so I thought what I should write about. In the essay, we write about letters to hosts, University life, movie review, language learning, favorite place, and learning with computers. I think that we really wrote a long sentences, but I think that these were good practice for writing sentences.
We wrote book review, too. I read a lot of books. I think that I could progress my reading skill, too. It is good things. These books are very interesting. There is happy story, sad story, and romontic story. I really thinks that reading books are interesting. I want to read them more.
We wrote about my every day. To tell the truth, I had my part time job every day, so I didn’t have continent. Any way, I post a lot of things. I wrote a lot of words, so I think that I became to be able to type sentences early. Typing is very important for the future. I think that I want to practice more.
I take this writing class, and I could progress my English skill. Writing is very important. I really think so. I am very happy to take this class.
I learned Essay prep, Essay, portfolios, Book review and peer-to-peer commentary. I could write 10,000 words in spring semester and write 15,000 word in fall semester. I could write 25,000 words in one year. I can’t believe that I could write 25,000 words. I didn’t like writing and I didn’t like typing. I really didn’t like using computer. But, I like writing and typing day by day.
ReplyDeleteAt the first, I will write about Book review and bibliographies. I often read National Geographic. I raelly interest of nationd and animals. Therefore, I often read national geographic in spring semester. But, I could read all national geographic’s book in spring semester. So, I don’t have interest of book in fall semester. I didn’t want to read picture book. Because, I don’t think that picture book is interesting and when I read picture book, I didn’t have sentiment. So, I didn’t like read picture book. But, I found funny picture book in fall semester. These book is very interesting and funny story.
I often composed 3 pargraph in my book review. At the first, I wrote abridgment. abridgement is very importan. Because, It is hard for me to write adridgement. I had to understand book’s substance. If I can’t understand book’s substance, I wouldn’t write adridgement. This experience can be up my reading skills. I was glad that I can write book review. The second time, I wrote about interesting sentence and I wrote about it which I have intersted of sentence. Finally, I wrote my seniment.
Next I will write about peer-to-peer commentary. I should comment aout my classmates blog. My classmate often write diary. When I read my classmates blog, I write suggestions, reflections,agreement etc. they often spent great time. we could have something in common by we wrote blog. Therefore, we enjoy writing blog and keep studying writing and typing. So, I think blog is opportunities in my callege life. When I want to write comment about my classmate7 sblog, I must read them blogs. it is important for me to read fast.
I will write my best book review and essay. I will explain about book review and Essays.
I explained a lot of things in this year, and I could get more some skill. For example, I read many English books, typing free writing, write about essays and make portfolios. It was very hard, but I did all it in this year.
ReplyDeleteFirst of all, I wrote a lot of book reviews in this year. it was very difficult for me first because I can’t read English well. However, I continued to try this homework, and I could it speedy at last! I felt like English more through this homework because I could see a lot of English word! Also, all books stories are very interesting. Almost all of books are made for children because I read short books, so these books are writen about education for them. I found many new things before I read them, so I want to alive in this world using these education from now!
Then I wrote about essays! I thought it is one of the hardest homework in this class because we have to write very long essays soon! In fact, it was very hard, but I could get writing skill more. After I wrote about essays in my post, my clasmates reflected about it. T thought this system is very nice because we could found our mistake that we can’t found Moreover, we wrote again tjinking these mistakes, so I really thanks to this system. I wrote about my university, amd I thought that it is my best essay! We made a mind map before we wrote it, so we think about it again. if you see a mind ma, you can know about is, so we could write weel and speedy! I wrote this essay using a lot of English word and grammar, so this essay was very long! I thought that I could get a lot of English skill, so I want to write free writing like it!
I also a lot of comment about essays and free writing of other classmates. First of all, I wrote praise about it after I read all sentenses, and I asked some questions. then I reflected , and suggest them. I thought that is is very nice system because I feld very glad! I also plaine a lot of new things. They pointed out my mistake in my essays and free writing, so I like this system, and I think I want to write comment other’s blog!
Finally, I made a Portfolios. I wrote at about my blog’s introduction. it is written about a number of my blog’s total word and so on, so you can know my blog’s information. I think it is very useful!
I wrote a lot of other things information in it, so please read it! I thought it is very useful system. I also felt memory is very important!
I learned how to write book reviews, essays, essay prep., portfolios, peer-to-peer commentary, and so on in writing Ⅲ-Ⅳ. In addition, I could prepare writing English because I had to write 25,000 words this year.
ReplyDeleteFirst, I learned how to read books written in English because I did book reviews. At first, it was very difficult for me because I had never read English books. In addition, I can learn real English because these books is written in Britain or the U.S. The books I read was written for children, so I could understand meanings. Book review was very interesting and good way to study English for me.
I learned how to write essays too. I had to write some essays in this class, and it was so difficult for me. But we made maps for this assainment, so it was very useful for me. I didn’t know that there is very interesting and useful function. I could do special experience in this class. Writing essay gave me a lot of important things. For example, when I write essay, I could think what should I do at first to write essay which readers can understand easily. It is not so easy for me. But these things is very important because I have to make essays, reports, presentation, and so on in the future.
I write a lot of comments to blog which my friends wrote. It was very interesting because I could know what do they do or how do they think. Writing question or comments was interesting too. I don’t write English comment to my friends usually, so it was good experience for me. I want to write comments in English on face book or twitter too.
Free-writing was very funny because I could write a diary in English. I could not only write my important memories but also prepare English which is not formal. I don’t write diary also in Japanese, so it was nice opportunity to write a diary. I want to continue to write diary. Watching free-writing which my friends wrote was interesting too. I could enjoy it. I think that I could enjoy studying English thanks for free-writing. I could study both of writing and reading.
Finally, I could learn how to use computer. I knew how to make maps, copy and vaste, make blog, and so on. These skill is very useful for me in the future. Thanks for this writing class, I became to like using computer. Especially, I could know how to use google functions. I want to use it in the future too.
Writing class was very interesting and important class for me. I could learn a lot of skills in this class. I really enjoyed this class.
