Please post an individual response to item three, Achieving Personal Satisfaction (Writing III: Exam Items (2009), slide 6), in a single comment on this post.
I had worked at a restaurant. Sometime foreigner visited there. Then I use my poor English, they responded with their smile. I was satisfied when I communicated with them. Additionally when I understand English over seeing movies and listening to music, I feel my English was good. Yet I haven’t achieved perfect English. I speak, write and listen hard more.
At first, I was surprised at this class, because we use only PC. Last year, we use a textbook and black board to learn Writing. We used PC only doing our reports. I didn’t use PC well and didn’t like using the PC before, but now I could use the PC better than before. For example, I became paste pictures on my blog and I became type the English faster than before. I think, this class made me using the PC better, because almost every day I used the PC to do my homework and attending this class. If this class doesn’t use the PC, I can’t use the PC still now. I am satisfied with this class.
I think that I have not achieved personal satisfaction through online writing this semester. I can read some blog through this class, so I can enjoy it very much. Then, I like writing my dairy life because I can keep my memory. However, I can write more interesting sentences and post more picture. And then, I try to post some links and other things. I can devise my blog more. Therefore, I want to effort more next semester.
It is first time for me to write over ten thousand on the blog. I thought that it is difficult for me to over ten thousand, but I could over the words. When I achieved it, I was happy. I afforded to over ten thousand, I write a lot of things. For example, I wrote about my life, books, daily and so on. The reason why I write about them, I wanted to over ten thousand, so I wrote a lot of things.
I’m not fully satisfied with this class actually. I wanted to enhance my English writing skill through this class and my focus was using correct grammar and idiomatic English. I wrote fairly number of sentences on my blog but I’m not sure my writings were grammatically correct or idiomatic. I wanted to be checked my writings more. I feel that in the class, we took too much time on using PC not writing. That’s why I’m not fully satisfied with this class. However, for other students, writing large volume of English without caring about mistakes is important on their stage of learning English since they are still sophomores. (I’m senior now.)
I have a lot of aims that I would like to achieve. To achieve them, I think it is important to save own time. If I take much time to watch TV or use cell phones or PCs, I can’t have time to study. On the contrary, if I take much time to study, I can’t have time to enjoy my hobby. To achieve my personal satisfaction, I need to do my best. Now, I study languages to use them fluently in the future. I like to communicate with people so I would like to have a job which I can have a lot of communication. So I have to study more.
I have been wanted to improve my English speaking skill for a long time, so I entered KGU and majoring English. I do a lot of assignments for achieve the personal satisfaction.
I think that we should get over our difficulties for achieve our personal satisfaction. So I feel that I get over my assignments!!
I posted many articles. I was satisfaction this semester class. The best satisfaction is comment from my friends. General opinion is also happy to receive comment to them post. So I satisfaction is it.
When I looked over my blog, I felt a sense of achievement so much. In blog, there are my things, pictures and so on. It is very fresh thing for me because I hadn’t done such a thing. I felt I became famous person. It was very good experience for me.
Speaking of Writing, I think about to use a pen and to write down on a sheet. But this writing class is different I think. In this class I use a computer and type words. But to use a computer gave me a lot of knowledge. Thanks to peed typing homework, I can type faster than before. So I am satisfied with this writing class.
I think the writing III class suited me because I like to use personal computer. Then, I don’t good at English, but I use it every day, so I leared many words. There are many homework, so I could work hard to study English.
I think writing is art because I can express to use many word and tell various word. I think that writing can most express our personality.
For example, when I write “she plays tennis well”, the other person may write “she is a good player”. These two sentence are almost same mean. It is decided their personality which sentence people chose.
My style is keep my words. I try to don’t copy other’s words. It is important.
I think I could achieve to my target for my English skill. Because I could talk to native speaker smoothly and they said to me ‘ Your speaking was improved very much!’ When I heard that I was really happy about that. In addition, I could learn more natural English that I did not know ever. But I am not satisfied my skills so I want to study more!
I think so too that your comment about “ writing is art”. I enjoyed that use this blog, because by writing, I could expose my various emption. So, I feel each blogs has individual color. In addition, we could change blogs background, letter’s color, letters type, and so on. That, we can have the one blog in the world.
We can lead about friends blog. That is also good things!!
Blog is very terrible and difficult for me, but I did blog for the first time. Blog is interesting. I have two achieved personal satisfaction. That is book reviews. I did 12 book reviews, I feel happy. Another one, speed typing.
I used writing online in this semester. When I write online, I can check the mistaken spellings and grammars. Then I can rewrite and learn because I can make sure where is wrong, and why I wrong grammars. So I thought writing online is suit my personal learning.
I wrote many English sentences on my blog. I wrote many things on my blog. For example, I wrote what I did on a holiday, and some book reviews and essays. I also put some pictures on my blog. My friends watched my blog, and made some comments about it. I am glad to read my friend’s comment. So writing on my blog is interesting!
I was happy when I achieved my aim. My aim is achieving 10000 words on my blog. Blog is difficult for me, but I think that it is a good experience. I want to write more blog from now on.
3,About Achieving Satisfaction I think Writing online suit my personal learning because there were some goals in this writing class. In my life, I had been studying and practicing through aiming to some goals. When I had my goal, I could improve myself and it was good motivation to study. I like making effort, so this writing class is suit my personal leaning. However, I have one problem. The problem is that I’m not good at keeping anything everyday, so I couldn’t write blog so much. Keeping something is very difficult for me, so I need the skill of keeping from now on. Then I’ll be able to improve my computer skills and my English.
When I achieved figure of my blog to ten thousand, I was very happy then. For the first time, I was anxious about the blog. On the way to make my blog, I had a difficult time. So I had a lot of a sense of achievement.
